We also went to the Newport Beach Temple, which I had never actually been inside of before, but it was so beautiful. Granted, its pretty new so what do you expect, but still, it had beautiful wooden doors and archways and beautiful seascape murals. When Blaine and I went to San Clemente for our honeymoon, we took a couple pictures outside, but never went inside. It was fun to compare the pictures from 4 years ago EXACTLY and now.

Me and mom decided to match to show our maternal support for Alexis.
Then we had the wedding dinner at a vacation rental house that Craig's family rented for the wedding. It was on a hill and had an infinity pool with a view of the ocean. (Well, you know California, its too foggy and smoggy to see the horizon, but I'm pretty sure the ocean was out there) ;)
My grandparents rented a car for the wedding and they offered them a free upgrade to a sports car, so they took it! Let me tell you, it was a big hit. Poor Grandpa didn't even get to drive it that much because everyone else was hogging it. Blaine got a lot of action behind the drivers seat (probably because he is the only family member following in grandpa's dental footsteps ;) but i also got to drive it and so did Dad. We usually stuck Alivia in the backseat since it was so tiny. Honestly. I sat in the back one time and I wanted to cry, it was so cramped. But anyways, it was a niiiiiiiice, fast, smooth Camaro.

Thursday morning was the wedding at the San Diego temple. I had never been inside of that one either, so that was special. It's definitely older, but it has a unique design. Upstairs by the sealing rooms, there is a big glass cylinder in the center of the area with glass on the top, so it lets so much light in and looks like you're outside and you have a perfect view of the spires on the top.

After the wedding, Grandpa and I took Blaine to the airport to fly back to OKC for school the next morning. Then we headed back for the reception at a beautiful golf and country club. It was gorgeous - outdoors at sunset with lights strung above the dance floor.
And here is a picture of Dad giving his toast... Oh wait thats me ;) But seriously. Abbie pointed it out and its so true. I mean, even right down to the hand gestures.

I wish Blaine could have been here for the reception to dance with his hot babe, but at least he was there for the most important stuff. I just HATE incomplete pictures.
Its funny to notice the big difference between the male and female reactions in this picture :)
Me, Abbie, and Alivia made up a dance to perform at the reception, and I ripped my dress several times during practice. But it was awesome. We did it to "Let Me Love You" by Ne-Yo and then mixed it into a Britney Spears throwback song as an inside joke for the family. Alexis used to teach our younger cousins dances that they would perform for the family, so we thought that would be special for her special day. I still need to find a copy of the actual video though. Here are some pictures to help you imagine the awesomeness
Happy Wedding! Like I said, Blaine flew back Thursday after the wedding, I flew back Friday morning (not to mention my family - boys flew to Florida Friday morning, girls flew to Utah to move Abbie into her freshman year at Utah State!!) and then I started teaching school on Monday, when school actually started the previous Wednesday!! It was soooo busy. But we'll get to that later :)
