September with Alivia, part 2

One Saturday we played volleyball with the stake young men and young women at, ahem, the OFFICIAL training facility of the Thunder girls
Then we came home and caught the end of Blaine's workout, so Alivia did her first squat

Alivia watched Easton one night so Blaine and I could go out to dinner for probably the 5th time since Easton was born... we got a bunch of snaps like these

We also took advantage of someone else being around by squeezing in
another family of 3 photo after church

^ These two love her ^

We can't feed Easton when Jake is in the room anymore because Easton inevitably feeds all of his food to him... he's just so selfless ;)

Another sewing project we worked on was matching jammie pants for Easton and my dad
I wanted to make them for their Christmas presents last year, but messed up, got frustrated and quit. Luckily Alivia bailed me out.
She made these all by herself and didn't even have a pattern for Easton's.

^Jake was very supportive^

Easton has started to give hugs, but only when he feels like it. Liv sure did get a lot though

One Monday we went to Top Golf for a little family activity, but really, it was just for Easton.
He's become obsessed with golf and we've recently bought him his own clubs (plastic) since he was scratching up Blaine's everyday

He is the funniest little boy. He would cry and fuss and have real tears when it wasn't his turn, but then we'd let him take a couple strokes and he would just giggle and light up.
The worker guy even brought him out his very own kids size (still too big, but better than Blaine's)

^There he is modeling his new jammie bottoms^

We also went to the brand new Cabela's a couple days before it opened because we're card holders. Blaine was so excited. There were even people lined up and camping out for the grand opening.

^ "Daaaaaaaad, pick me up! Let meeeee see it!" ^

Thats how his face looks when he says "ba-droom"
(which is sounding more and more like "vroom")

September with Alivia, part 1

My youngest sister Alivia came to visit us for a couple weeks and it was so nice having her around--plus helpful to have an extra set of hands around for these two guys

We went on a tour of the Braums Dairy Headquarters...
but it turned out to be a factory tour rather than a farm.
Oh well, free ice cream and cookies--we three would've preferred milk though ;)

We sewed cute matching skirts and wore them to church

We play outside everyday, sometimes twice a day. And nightly baths are now a MUST.
Even though he gets so dirty, it's fun to see him explore and problem solve.
And if you haven't noticed, his cheeks get really red really fast when he's hot--
he gets that from his mom's mom :)

Easton loved snuggling with Liv. She's his cool aunt-- only 12 years older than him

On Labor Day we went to the last regular season game of the OKC Dodgers. It was so hot, as per Oklahoma summer usual. Way hotter than when we went in May and June.
We payed for the outfield seats like last time since they're the cheapest and Easton can move around, but the workers said we could go sit in the shade in the seats to escape the sun. So good deal for us!

"Baaaaaaa!!!!"

We all wished we could've taken our shirts off... soooooo hot

And of course, we had to have a little photo shoot
